About Jadyn

We hired Jadyn to spend time with our 4-year-old during the week. After some traumatic experiences at private preschools, we were primarily looking for a caregiver to help restore trust and emotional regulation while still keeping him on track with regular work on letters, numbers, and introductory reading and writing exercises. Jadyn met and surpassed our expectations. Her standard workday included coming to our home and either working from there or bringing the child to her home, working through worksheets, playing games, and just generally being a stable presence he could look forward to during the day. Eventually, as we found an outdoor learning program for him, this role changed to also include pickup and transport from that location. Later, Jadyn also became a trusted helper with our 7-year-old son, pitching in with evening tasks including dinner, bath, and bedtime. Even though the older child has autism, Jadyn always seemed capable of managing both of them and providing appropriate attention and affection to each. Jadyn is kind, helpful, and incredibly patient. I always felt comfortable with the way she responded to our kids, meeting them on their level. We trusted her with driving them to and from school, errands, and summer day camps, with lunch and dinner prep, and with supervising indoor and outdoor play. Although our needs are changing with the upcoming school year, we (and our boys) love Jadyn so much that we hope to continue to keep in touch and keep her in their lives. I heartily recommend Jadyn for any childcare needs.
