About Jade

Hello! I recently graduated from GVSU where I studied sustainable agriculture and spent most of my free time at the school's small farm. I love being outside and involved in each step that goes into making delicious and nourishing foods. I have been caring for children since 2011, and have been formally employed in childcare on-and-off since 2015. I enjoy being able to support the needs of growing children by facilitating calm and safe environments, fun and creative games, interactive lessons and a consistent presence. I started working with kids in 2015, when I got my first job as a swim instructor. Since then I have also been employed as a nanny and a paraprofessional for children with special needs. My skills include: CPR & First Aid certification (Red Cross) and teaching/instruction.
