About Jade

Hi there! My name is Jade. I'm currently a Child Protective Investigator with the Department of Children and Families. I have a background as a special needs kindergarten teacher for four years and I was a Teacher's Assistant for five years. Before that, I worked at an elementary school in various roles since 2011, including aftercare counselor, computer teacher, and summer camp activities coordinator. I've worked with children ages 2-12 and my experience includes supporting kids with varying disabilities and abilities. I'm also a proud parent of a 2-year-old toddler, which adds a personal touch to my professional insights. I have a passion for reading, outdoor and musical activities, art projects, and painting. I've also taught dance, step, and coached cheerleading and soccer for the City of Sunrise. I'm excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of children!
