About Jada

Fostering a child's growth, and emotional well-being is my true passion. As a Psychology student at the University of Kansas with a minor in Communication, I am deeply interested in development, mental health, and creating supportive environments where children feel understood, supported, and encouraged to thrive. With 5 years of childcare experience, I'm comfortable caring for 3-5 children across all age groups. As a former certified lifeguard, I am trained in CPR, first aid, and water safety. I have also been a catering assistant for 3 years and have experience creating a clean, organized atmosphere. My personality is patient, creative, and I enjoy engaging children in imaginative play, outdoor activities, and crafts that encourage learning. Through crisis support, mental health advocacy, and leadership roles, I have developed strong empathy, communication, patience, and problem-solving skills that help me remain calm under pressure and provide care for children and families.
