I am a former pediatric nurse practitioner, certified as both a newborn care and pediatric sleep specialist, and have worked with newborns to young adults, some being special needs. 

My decades of experience have solidified my passion for nurturing children's growth. I find immense joy in making a positive impact on young lives and supporting families by providing reliable care. My graduate degrees and Early Child Development coursework complement my hands-on experience.

We hired Jacquelyn to take care of our newborn for a morning as my husband was suffering from lower back pain and I was still recovering from c section. She was super knowledgeable and helpful. We got way more than what we expected. The small things she suggested ended up improving our quality of life immediately. We got to understand our baby better. We are sincerely thankful for her help!

We were attending a one-time event in Seattle and in need of childcare for our 8 year old son for a few hours. Jacquelyn was incredibly professional from the start with an introduction phone call, confirmation texts, and showed up exactly on time. Given her years of experience as a pediatric nurse and with childcare in general, we were able to completely relax knowing that our son was in good hands. She played games, read books, and as a bonus took great care of our small dog too! If you are looking for a trustworthy sitter, don't hesitate to hire Jacquelyn!

Where to begin! Jacqueline, in the short amount of time (four weeks or so) she worked with our family she actually became a huge part of our lives!!Although hiring her for over night newborn care, primarily with the intention of us being able to  simply be able to  sleep more in those initial tough newborn days, she also helped cure our babies reflux issues, gas issues and helped get our baby sleeping thru the night and helped us as first time parents navigate just about everything. She's one of a kind, extremely talented, able to spot each and every single thing a child needs and able to provide exceptional care. My experience was short,  however I am confident she's the best in her space, if I could have had Jacqueline around for longer it would have/ perhaps in the future :) you're a fool if you don't hire her!

Jacquelyn came in to help us with our newborn and we only worked with her for a short period of time. During that time, she was very helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. She helped us sleep train with excellent results and as new parents, taught us a lot about caring for our son. She tends to be blunt, and for new parents that can be challenging at times, but her intentions are always good. We sometimes found it difficult to work with her because she's very particular about certain things. I'd compare her to Mary Poppins, she's fantastic, but also has the "sunny attitude."

Wow. I don't even know where to begin! We hired Jacquelyn to come over for a "nanny consultation" day - as a FTM whose husband has recently gone back to work, I was struggling to figure out how to help my 7 week old son sleep during the day and was mentally drained. Jacquelyn was very honest from the beginning, which I LOVED. She pointed out things immediately that she thought could be improved to help my son get some shut eye (which no surprise, have already made a big difference!). She was polite and helpful, and genuinely made me feel more confident in my abilities to take care of my son. She is a natural with newborns and my son was immediately taken with her. Her medical background is also a huge plus - she put me at ease with a few things I was concerned about. I will DEFINITELY be looking to hire her again when the dreaded four month regression strikes! If you're a new parent and are looking for a helpful hand to guide you and provide reassurance, Jacquelyn is the one for you!

Jacquelyn cared for our newborn daughter and it was extremely helpful having someone so knowledgeable about babies to assist us as new parents in the early months.

Jacquelyn is professional with a wealth of knowledge in all types of childcare, child development, and medical care. She's intelligent, honest, and trustworthy. We are so fortunate to have her as a resource in raising our children.

Jacquelyn is an excellent resource to have during child birth. Jacquelyn helped my wife and I during the birth and recovery of our two daughters. She was there at the hospital coaching my wife through the labor process. After the birth she came to our house, and coached the two of us on how to take care of the new infants, and attending to my wife as she recovered. While she was with us she prepared a meals and they were some of the most delicious meals I have ever had. I would recommend her to anyone.

Jacquelyn is magic with kids. My son has Down syndrome and autism and he is drawn right to her. She is kind, compassionate, engaging personality, and a wonderful mother herself. She has incredible experience nurturing kids of all ages.

Jacquelyn has been fantastic with our boys. She is energetic, firm, flexible and creative.  Our kids love her!  She always helps us with our goals that we are working on at the current stage and would send us status updates.  She is very at-ease and easy to talk with and always has a wonderful smile on her face, for us and our kids.  We always feel safe when she is with our kids and wouldn't hesitate to refer her to other parents.

My experience with Jacquelyn has been stellar. She has cared for both my children since newborn (7 and 3). She not only plays with them, she engages them!  She follows instruction to the letter, and always checks before changing anything. I have big love for her medical background, I feel totally at ease leaving my children with her, comfortable that she can handle any situation. Jacquelyn is also very tidy, she leaves me with a happy kids, and happy house. I will use her till I no longer need child care and I will continue to refer her to anyone seeking quality child care.

Jacquelyn was the caregiver for our three year old special needs son for over six months. The quality of her care was exceptional.  She is warm and engaging and always put our child and his safety first. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Jacquelyn is an overly caring and passionate person. She cared for our twins while I was recovering from medical issues and spends all her time getting to know your kids. Her natural mother instincts kick in immediately and she seems to know what to do to make babies happy. Our babies love her bubbly personality and she is easy to talk to and welcoming in her demeanor. She only worked with our family for a short while, but those times will be remembered.

My husband and I are having our first child and we don't have family around. We really needed extra help throughout the pregnancy and getting our home prepared for children. We met Jacquelyn and she was perfect! She was there anytime we needed her. She was easy to contact, incredibly knowledgeable, reliable, fun to talk with, and always made me feel at ease. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew proper baby care techniques, like how to swaddle a baby correctly. Even brought over a baby doll that would weigh and look about the same as a newborn for us to practice on. If there were a 6th star I'd give it to her! We love Jacquelyn and know our baby couldn't be in better hands!

My neighbor, Jacquelyn, is a fantastic mom and my four children adore her as well. They love playing at her home and look forward to her interactions. I feel a great deal of security in having her as my neighbor. When my eight-year-old hurt her knee in a sledding accident, Jacquelyn rushed over to check her out and coddle/nurse her back to health. As valuable as her nursing skills to me was her bedside manner with my child. At no point was she scared, all due to Jacquelyn's easy humor and confidence. If I were looking for child care, I would definitely look to hire her. Especially if I had special medical needs children. I highly recommend Jacquelyn.
