About Jacqueline

How can I even begin this review about Jacqueline? Let’s start with this: if you’re reading this and considering hiring her, just do it! She is beyond amazing. Jacqueline joined our family as a part-time nanny for our little girl (14 months old) for these past 6 months and we only had to say goodbye to her because we are moving. If we weren’t moving, I would have Jacqueline with our family forever! The top three things that I love most about her are: she’s punctual, she’s reliable, and she’s so outgoing and playful with our daughter. There are all sorts of other smaller things that I love about her, too, for example…her willingness to go above and beyond by helping to fold laundry, clean up the kitchen after meal times, and organize my daughter’s closet and her clothing. She also would share healthy recipe ideas with me and always took her time with feeding our daughter and introducing different solids to her! I love that Jacqueline completely respected and embraced our no-screen rule — she would take her to the neighborhood park almost every day invented fun games for her to play. She’d sing little songs in Spanish that my daughter absolutely loved. One quick note about the language:: We are an English-speaking family, but my husband and I are both learning Spanish and trying to teach our daughter Spanish as well. Jacqueline speaks Spanish fluently and communicates verbally with us in Spanish, but will text us in perfect English. If you have any concerns about any language barrier, don’t let that get in your way! She uses a translator on her phone, but it’s not often necessary because her childcare skills are not bound by language! She would speak and sing to our daughter in Spanish and I know this will really give my daughter a head-start in life with second language skills! Jacqueline has perfectly fluent English texting abilities. Jacqueline always shows up on time and always with a smile. You can tell she takes great pride in being a nanny. She is deeply loving, caring, professional, and fun!
