About Jacqueline

Hi! I'm Jackie, a Wellesley College Neuroscience alum, with background in Childhood Development; the Psychology of Learning, Teaching, and Motivation; Cognition; and Memory. As a kiddo, learning multiplication was grueling and disheartening experience, until the perfectly patient, encouraging, and motivating tutor came along and helped make everything "click". I went on to excel in AP math in high school and college calc, and all became well in the world. Sarcasm aside, I want to be that tutor for your child. I tutor various PK-12 subjects. I connect with kids of all ages and am passionate about helping kids find a unique learning style that fits them best. I also lead "for fun" educational experiences, like kitchen science experiments or beach adventures to explore tide pool ecology, the moon and tides, the water cycle, pollution, and ocean safety. Additionally, I LOVE helping college applicants creatively refine their narrative, prep for SAT/ACT tests and navigate admissions.
