About Jacqueline

I'd describe my personality as moral, creative, responsible, and funny. I like working with kids because as an educator, I believe that children are incredible. It is important that kids are thoughtful, respectful and knowledgeable human beings. I like working with children because I get to aide in that process and development. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have fun, exercise my teaching skills, and flows with my full-time work schedule. I started working with kids in 2015 with the AmeriCorps program in Boston. There, I grew a love for educating students w/ disabilities. Later, I moved back to Washington, DC and continue my work in special education to this day. In my spare time, I like to watch TV, go on nature walks, and hang with my 3 best friends. You should know that I am a lifelong learner. As a woman w/ no children, I praise the role that parents have and want to support as best as l can. My skills include communication, no-nonsense nurturing, and patience.
