About Jacob

Teacher at a preschool looking for part-time summer work. I'd describe my personality as silly, serious, observant. I like working with kids because it makes me laugh! I'm looking for a job that is consistent and nearby. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I've taught Sunday school, summer camp, tutored college undergraduates, been a nanny and babysitter, and now work every morning at a private school in Manhattan. In my spare time, I like to read, write and walk. One thing you should know about me is I love babies and toddlers! The past year I worked mostly with4-year-olds but always enjoy getting to know new ages. My skills include really getting to know a kid so that they feel understood and seen. Also, knowing when and how to switch from playmate to teacher/authority figure.
