Hello! Working with children is something I wholeheartedly love to do. I am fairly new to Tennessee, and I am currently obtaining certification as a licensed teacher within the state. Graduating from Purdue University in 2014, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with highest distinction. While attending college, I worked part time as a substitute teacher, as a Bellaboo buddy at Bellaboo's Children's Discovery Center, and as a seasonal park ranger with the National Park Service. I have experience caring for all ages of children ranging from infants to teens. I have been responsible for 30+ students at one time. I have also done individual short term child care and tutoring. I am currently employed as the lead pre-k teacher at Creative Care Center in Green Hills. I work closely with three and 4-year-olds. I also have a strong passion for animals, and I have experience caring for all different kinds of pets.

Jacob was a student teacher in my classroom. He was very creative and brought the art into my room. Jacob is very punctual and worked very hard to help accommodate all needs of students.
