I have also worked in the special needs field for over 20 years which includes working with adults with mental disabilities, children with behavioral issues in a school system and an elderly woman with Alzheimer's. I have been taking care of an elderly couple in Florida for the last five years. The wife was not able to walk and had dementia. She needed full on care everyday. After she passed I cared for only the husband who had limited mobility and needed assistance for daily living. They have both since passed on. I enjoy working with people and forming relationships. It brings so much more meaning to the workday
