About Jaclyn

For as long as I can remember, I've felt drawn to childcare, starting with caring for my younger sisters. My positive experiences babysitting solidified my desire to positively impact children's lives. With a degree in Child and Family Studies, a minor in Psychology, and Early Childhood Education coursework, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my approach. I have 20 years of experience, including nearly 15 years with one wonderful family. As a mom of two, including a son with Fragile X syndrome and autism, I've gained invaluable insights through countless hours of speech, OT, and PT observation. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and love playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I provide daily written reports and verbal updates at pickup, tailoring communication to your preferences. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I am certified in CPR and I am comfortable caring for up to three children.
