As a graduate of Columbia Teachers College with a masters degree in Elementary Inclusive Education and dual certification to teach students with disabilities, I'm a thoughtful and creative care provider. I don't start teaching full time until the fall, so before then I'm looking to provide help to a busy New York family in need of an extra pair of hands. I'm quite flexible this summer with full day availability and I'm also open to helping on the weekends. I have cared for children ages 1 to 12 and for families with multiple children. I've done pick ups and drop offs, meal prep, arts and crafts, and I love brainstorming new learning excursions. I'm a very easy-going, flexible person and love history, comedy, arts and crafts, and music! Raising a child in the city can be hectic and I'd love to help your family's day to day run a bit more smoothly :)

As a full time working mom with 2 young kids, I was looking for a sitter who could plug into our family and help out when we needed it. I found Jackie here on Care.com and she was just perfect. Great experience, dependable, trustworthy, and, most importantly, warm and loving with the kids. Both my boys loved having her babysit - she was always ready to play games, read to them, and get them outside to play. I highly recommend her to other families looking for a top-notch babysitter or nanny.
