Hello and thanks for stopping by my profile. I know how daunting it must be trying to find a caregiver for your child(ren) you feel comfortable with. Well, you've come to the right place. I have 10 years of experience as a nanny with children ranging in age from infancy-adolescence. Although I have moved around a bit in the last two years (NY, WA, now VA) I still have meaningful connections with all the families I have nannied for in the past. I will treat your children like my children and become part of your family. I love what I do and to top it off, I'm pretty darn good at it too. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Master's in Literacy. I am currently a first grade teacher with VBCPS but as much as teaching is my passion, after 9 years, I am reaching burnout and trying to save my peace while still doing what I love. I've known Jackie since she was a teenager as I was her choir teacher in all 4 years of high school. She was always wise beyond her years and like a mature adult even as a young girl. I never would have thought to let a student babysit my precious baby, but since it was Jackie, the thought occurred to me. She continued to babysit for me into her college years as well. She always knew exactly what to do and how to handle my child. Sometimes I thought even better than me! I literally would tell her that I learned things from her! It was wild! We've kept in touch all these years and she is a wonderful mother and teacher now herself. There is no human I would recommend more than Jackie to care for your children!
