About Jackie

During the last 6 months of my grandmother's life I lived with her Monday-Friday. She had Dementia and had a heart condition. Helping her with her daily activities, cooking for her, reminding and assisting her with her medications and getting her groceries for her is only a very small part of my experience with my grandma. Taking care of her was hard because I saw her at her worst but I wouldn't of had it any other way. She cared for me as a child so it was my turn. I hope to provide the type of care I would give my grandmother to anyone else having a difficult time aging. It shouldn't be a hard time, or a lonely time. They should be able to tell stories from the past and share their experiences with others. As I always say, laughter is the best medicine.
