About Jack

I am a K-8 math specialist with over a decade of teaching experience. I have my K-12 special education certification. I am experienced in reading and math instruction across grade levels. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, kind and reflective. I like tutoring because it's satisfying to see students grasp new concepts and gain confidence. I'm looking for a job that helps a student achieve their potential. I started tutoring when I first started teaching, about 12 or 13 years ago. In my spare time, I like to exercise, read and spend time outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I am a strong, patient, and dependable educator. My skills include: math instruction, phonics instruction and reading comprehension.
