About Jack

Hi, my name is Jack and I've been teaching students age 4-17 in an after-school classroom setting for over 4 years. I currently teach with ARC as a specialized instructor, primarily in the music field, but also have experience tutoring/teaching Spanish and English, as well as theatre with KidStage. I speak Spanish near-fluently. I have worked with Spanish speaking students well as tutoring with ARC for 2+ years. I have a deep understanding of the English language its literature. Grammar and writing is also a strong suit of mine, having excelled on my English AP tests and crafted college essays good enough to be accepted to USC and NYU. I have been playing musical instruments since the age of 7, primarily piano, saxophone, guitar, bass, vocals, and ukulele. I have taught all of those instruments at the elementary-high school level. I taught adult ceramics/wheel throwing at Claytivity in LA for 2+ years, and youth ceramics and watercolor for ARC for another 2 years.
