About Jack

Hi There, I'm a musician and mountain guide by trade... but since transitioning away from my 8+ year career in outdoor ed I've been missing young people! The older I get the more I love engaging with young people -- watching their awe and creativity and wonder always inspires me. Until recently I spent all my time with students age 14-21, teaching them emotional intelligence, grit, self-awareness, and leadership in the mountains for a month at a time for organizations like the National Outdoor Leadership School, The Eagle Rock School, and United Colleges. But honestly, I most love working and caring for people 2-11. I'm not likely to baby your child... but I will truly engage with their questions and care for their spirit and try to cultivate curiosity and wonder about the world around them.
