About Jacalyn

My name is Jacalyn. I am 28 years old. I have always had a soft spot for children even when I was still considered a child. So naturally, I got into childcare as soon as I was considered old enough. When I was 12, I started an arts and crafts class with my friend. When I was 13/14, I started actual babysitting for kids ages 4-9. At age 18, I got my first full-time, long-term position for a family with three children ages 6 months, 4, and 6. With more than 10 years of experience working with children from 0 to 17 years of age in diverse home settings I feel confident that I can work with any family successfully. I am so incredibly happy to have gotten into childcare because it is one of the most amazing things to watch a young child grow into their own person and to have a part in that is so rewarding. I was raised to have high morals and good manners and encouraged to develop as many interests as I could. I try and impart that to whoever I am caring for.
