About Ivy

I'd describe my personality as creative, fun-loving, detail oriented. I like working with kids because they have big dreams and an interest in learning, just like myself! I'm looking for a job that fits within my availability and affords me the opportunity to use my many unique talents to help relieve the day-to-day stresses of home management. I started working with kids when I was in high school, spending two summers with a pair of toddlers I came to love like my own. I then spent three years working for the boys and girls club with grades 1-12 as a counselor and Art Director for after-school and summer programming. In my spare time, I like to watch old movies and bake impressive cakes using my Granny's famous recipes. My skills include activity planning, meal and snack prep, and homework help. I love developing crafts and projects geared toward a child's specific interests.
