About Ivey

I've been a childcare professional for the past eight years. I have a passion for fostering children's growth and development. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. With a college degree in early childhood education, I also have First Aid and CPR training, and I'm a certified teacher. As a creative and imaginative person, I love playing outdoor sports and physical games with children. I also enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues in various ways, including their preferred method, such as apps or verbal communication at pickup. In my previous roles, I have used my passion for food and nutrition to help build healthy relationships between young children and eating. I am also willing to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
