About Iva

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Iva. She cared for our 18 month old son full-time for two months, and from the very beginning, she was incredibly warm, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. It was so clear how much she cared about our little guy and how much she truly enjoyed spending time with him, which meant the world to us. She was also constantly looking for ways to be helpful not only with our son, but to our whole family. She regularly asked what more she could do and was incredibly thoughtful about anticipating what might make our lives a little easier. We loved how she structured the days, with a great balance of activities like reading, drawing, and library story time, opportunities to learn new words and skills, and plenty of free play and exploration outside. She was very engaged with him while also letting him lead and explore his interests. Our arrangement was always intended to be short-term because of her summer schedule, and we knew that when we hired her. If she had been available longer, we would have happily kept her forever! We absolutely loved having her as part of our family and would recommend her wholeheartedly. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
