About Isha

Hello! My name is Isha Mazumdar, and I have 15 years of experience working with children in many settings. I grew up in the Bay Area and recently returned after completing an Msc at LSE. I previously attended NYU, where I earned a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. My professional childcare experience includes working with children at Oakwood Athletic Club, Lafayette Nursery School, and Cragmont Elementary, as well as long-term nannying and babysitting for families in the Bay Area, New York, and London. For 10 summers, I also spent time at a children's home in India, caring for and organizing activities for children aged 1-9 . My approach is grounded in creativity, kindness, understanding, and safety. I enjoy planning engaging activities, encouraging curiosity, and creating a warm environment tailored to each child's personality and needs. I also understand the importance of respecting each family's routines, values, and parenting style.
