About Isabel

I have had the pleasure of tutoring students in math and reading. I taught ESL in India twice for two month stints. I studied French at GRCC, did a bilingual program in Quebec and Mauritius, and have been able to tutor informally with friends and family. I have my ESL certificate and am passionate about teaching ESL and helping students who struggle with English, reading, or writing. I am a singer-songwriter who took voice lessons through Kelsey Rottiers and at GRCC with Dr. Barton. I LOVE singing, and I have had the pleasure of helping other students learn how to advance in their singing with simple techniques. I love math and helping students learn how to work with numbers. I do limit my tutoring to middle school math, simply because I have not tutored high school math in awhile, and don't feel qualified to do so.
