About Isabel

Hello! My name is Izzy! I have been working in childcare for 10+ years and have always brought my love for art into my work as a babysitter and nanny. Within the last 2 years, I began teaching youth art lessons privately and I am looking to expand my teaching practice! I am trained in fine art printmaking, painting, drawing, wheel throwing, and sewing. Some past projects I have done with students include still life drawing, screen printing, paper making, mixed media color exploration, figure drawing, and more! I love to challenge myself and my students to take on new projects that help with both skill and conceptual development. My most recent position was an internship as a Home school and Art Teacher, for children 2-5, and my first art teaching job was for 7-11-year-old siblings, so I am open to exploring art concepts and skills with both young children and adolescents. For art classes I typically charge $20-25 per child/per hour session, but I am open to negotiate my rate.
