Hi! My name is Isabel (she/her) and I recently completed a bachelors in nursing with a minor in psychology. I am passionate about providing holistic care that empowers the people I work with. For the past 3 years I have worked as a client care specialist for Jill's House, an organization that provides respite care for families raising children with intellectual disabilities. In this role, I have assisted children with ADLs, maintained a safe and nurturing environment to meet emotional and psychosocial needs, and lead activities including music and art. I also have extensive experience working with children with type 1 diabetes in a camp setting. I am very aware of the attention to detail that caring for children with chronic illness requires and take the responsibility very seriously. My values are rooted in compassion, understanding, and kindness. I consider it an immense privilege to work so closely with vulnerable populations, and to be a part of their lives.
