About Isabella

Hi! My name is Isabella, and I am a dedicated tutor with a passion for helping children become confident, successful readers. I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing advanced training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. I specialize in working with early elementary students who need extra support with decoding, phonemic awareness, fluency, spelling, and reading comprehension. My approach is individualized, engaging, and focused on building both academic skills and a child's confidence. Through my background in psychology, tutoring, and childcare, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn and the importance of creating a positive, encouraging learning environment. I believe that reading instruction should be both effective and enjoyable, and I strive to make each session interactive, supportive, and tailored to each child's unique needs.
