About Isabella

Hello all! My name is Isabella and I use she/her pronouns. Newbie to care. com. I have been a volunteer tutor since January 2020 with a local non-profit and when we transitioned to virtual it was a team effort that taught me a lot. I'm looking forward to applying these skills to your scholars! Before I started volunteering I had been a museum educator at The Children's Museum of Manhattan where I led art classes, workshops, and themed school group tours. I am a recent college grad and NYC native in the midst of working as a freelance writer and applying to graduate school where I hope to earn a Master's degree in Literature. Therefore, it may be unsurprising when I say my favorite subject is ELA. I love sharing the joys of reading and writing! I also have experience teaching movement (yoga, ballet) and I'm there for your scholar as they work through that tough math homework.
