About Isabel

Hello! I am 33, with 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I babysat throughout High school and college, and also worked as a camp counselor for two sleep-away camps (girls ages 7 to 14.) After graduating and moving to Brooklyn in 2016, I quit my full-time job to focus on more flexible work. I've been babysitting and nannying for families in Manhattan and in Brooklyn since 2017, with a focus on after-school care and day-care for working parents. Outside of childcare, I work in the restaurant industry as a Maitre D. The theme in all my work is to improve the well-being of everyone around me :] I excel in supporting emotional wellness; providing kids with an optimism, communication tools, introspective skills, self-advocacy techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and confidence-building activities based on their unique interests/passions --all with a nurturing and warm presence.
