About Isabel

Hello! My name is Isabel and I am a 23-year-old graduate from UCLA. I live in San Diego, working as a Staff Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSD Med, doing research on adolescent development. Outside of work, I love to run, hang out with my friends, and do little crafts! From my role as Ms. Rose, a "teacher" for my younger brother when I was little, to tutoring and babysitting throughout high school, I have always loved working with kids. It is such an important, joyous, and fulfilling responsibility to care for children, one that I don't take lightly but one that I bring a lighthearted, positive, and passionate energy to. I prioritize being present and in the moment, as I love spending time with kids in order to nurture a trusting bond. I hope to find some part time work for after 4 p.m. (such as picking up kids from school, as I have a car) or on the weekends!
