About Iryna

Iryna is a once-in-a-lifetime nanny and educator. A year ago, I was so nervous to hire a babysitter for my 18 mo daughter. Instead, for the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working with a beloved educator who delights in the individuality and flourishing of children. Time with Iryna feels intentional. Iryna will follow a parent’s direction but my daughter always gravitates toward her bag of open-ended treasures; imagine tender musical instruments, invitations to movement, and charming starting points for imaginative play. I love the balance struck between joy, growth and wonder. Having worked in a wide variety of educational settings, Iryna has a wealth of knowledge and range. I’ve personally encouraged Iryna to share her love of nature and yoga with my daughter. I am endlessly amused, in the best possible way, watching my spirited child practice yoga breaths and feel a sense of mastery at knowing dozens of poses, both serious and silly! Some givens that I want to mention: Iryna is reliable, has great judgment, and will check in regularly with a parent to ensure the family’s preferences are upheld. I can’t overstate what it feels like to have such a trusted and inspirational figure in both my daughter’s life and my own.
