About Iris

I'd describe my personality as approachable, patient, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they bring in a new perspective to life and you never know what to expect with them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with children and also allows time to myself. I started working with kids when I was 15 just babysitting for my parents' coworkers and neighbors and more recently for 2 years since transitioning out of the military. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, cook, and watch tv to decompress. One thing you should know about me is I am a Marine Corps veteran. I'm also someone who is very passionate about kids and I like teaching them ways to communicate and make their life easier so it's not so hard and frustrating when they aren't understood if words are hard. My skills include patience, risk management, and reaction time.
