About Iris

Hi, I'm Iris and I am a student at Gustavus Adolphus College studying elementary education. I've been working in childcare for 4 years. I've worked at Kids Corner, the YMCA, and St. Peter Community Child Care (SP3C). I'm CPR and first aid certified and have experience working with special needs children. As an elementary education major, I see the importance of incorporating learning into play through crafts, sensory activities, and engaging games. I also believe it is important to build a strong relationship with a child and my goal is to leave a positive impact on the lives of the children in my care.
