About Iris

I am a high school English teacher looking for a summer nannying position once the school year ends. I have over 8 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. My experience began as a swim instructor teaching young children water safety and swimming skills, and since then I have continued working closely with families in both childcare and educational settings. Before becoming a teacher, I worked with my most recent nanny family for 3 years, building a strong relationship with both the children and parents. I love creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun. As both a teacher and caregiver, I am patient, responsible, organized, and comfortable managing routines, activities, homework help, and daily care needs. I truly enjoy working with children and value building trusting relationships with families. I would love to help support a family this summer!
