About Irie
Experience: 6 yrs
I've been working with kiddos for the last six years, both as a pre-K and assistant K-1 teacher at a Five Acre and as a long term in-home nanny for kids ranging in age from 6 months to 6. My philosophy is rooted in a whole-child approach where social, physical, and emotional well being of children are all centered, and their curiosity and interests guide our time together. Part of my role as a teacher was facilitating our classes weekly hike and connecting children with the outdoors is a huge passion of mine. I am first aid and CPR certified and am happy to provide references upon request. I have a reliable vehicle, am comfortable with pets, and willing to cook and do light housework as needed.

There are no words to express how wonderful Irie is. If she wasn't moving to the east coast we would have her care for our children forever! They have learned so much and experienced so much in her care. We have never had to worry if they were safe even when she takes them out and about. She is mindful of what they eat, that they are spending time outdoors and that they are learning through play. It blows my mind the knowledge bombs our kids drop on us after spending the day with her. We love her and know you will too.
