About Irene

I have worked with children my whole life since I was a teenager babysitting the neighborhood children. Your child's safety and comfort is my top priority. I am an experienced, responsible, nurturing mom of two adult children. I am calm and patient! I have two Masters degrees, one in early childhood education and the other in exercise physiology. I have taught gymnastics to babies and up to school age children. I have also worked in childcare centers in the infant room. Most recently, I have worked for private families providing childcare. I love to read to children, sing nursery rhymes, and do finger plays. I enjoy seeing them reach their milestones. I am passionate about working with children. I enjoy getting on the floor with them and playing and interacting with them. It gives me such pleasure seeing them reach new milestones. I am gentle, kind, and very patient. I treat every child with respect and dignity. I am very attentive to every child in my care.
