About Irene

Hello! My name is Irene, and I'm a 24-year-old Nashville native with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in family studies and mental health. I am pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to become a therapist for adolescents and young adults. I have informal experience with children through family members. I currently work at an emergency shelter for 13-17-year-olds, where I have developed skills in patience, empathy, and creating a safe environment. As a nanny, I create a structured, engaging atmosphere promoting growth and development. I tailor my approach to each child's unique needs and interests, incorporating interactive activities and educational play. I am excited about contributing positively to children's lives while pursuing my passion for mental health counseling.
