I have taken Early Childhood Education Classes in Canada College in Redwood City and Montessori courses at Notre Dame the Namur University in Belmont, CA. I possess a CNA license. Not only that, but I speak English and Spanish. I am qualified to work with mental health issues, as a nurse assistant and with children of all ages. I am currently looking to work for a wonderful family in need of a caregiver for children or seniors. In my background experience I have worked as a nanny for families in Portola Valley, Palo Alto, Mountain View and Atherton, CA. I have experience working with children with disabilities at schools and working at daycares. I have experience as a CNA working with seniors with Alzheimer and Dementias, assisting them in assisted living facilities and taking care of patients in rehabs. I can do occasional, temporary and permanent nanny jobs as well. One last thing, I'm comfortable with dogs and cats. :)

Ira is wonderful! She is loving, energetic and very patient. She developed a bond with my baby girl in a very short time (trust me it's not an easy task). She kept my 1 year old engaged and entertained. She also took her to various libraries for story time and to parks. She is a reliable driver. Thanks to her my daughter learned various songs and some Spanish. She is also a great cook and made some yummy food for us :). All in all she is great and I recommend her whole heartedly.
