I've worked with littles for over 10 years now, primarily with infants, toddlers, and premature babies but also as a Field Guide , as a violin teacher, an ACT tutor, and a theater camp counselor. I take a Montessori-modeled approach, letting the child's natural curiosity guide our daily activities. I integrate time in nature whenever possible and lean heavily on music and movement to connect and teach. I have an MA in Critical Psychology and Human Services and am looking into continuing higher education, with which I think nannying would pair nicely. I have a reliable vehicle, I'm vaccinated, and I can begin January 2024. I am both CPR and First Aid Certified through American Red Cross. Résumé and references available upon request. Indigo was amazing! She looked after our infant for about 4 months. She was punctual, and a GREAT communicator. She kept our boy safe, and I felt reassured he was in good hands. She'd go for walks with him and was so good about letting me know when she was going and coming back because I'd worry! She was very organized by the way she logged and reported all his poops, pees, and naps! I'd be late for my appts because I'd enjoy talking to her when she came in, and I'd forget the time. Would've loved for her to stay with us but she found something better suited for her hours. :)
