About Imelda

Imelda began caring for our 18-month-old son in July, and then our newborn daughter in September. During this extremely challenging pandemic year, Imelda quickly became a trusted part of our family. Our son, particularly impacted by quarantine, began to thrive again under Imelda's care-regaining his infectious laughter, learning to speak, and learning to run. Imelda brought unique warmth to all meals, lessons and activities. She was attentive to supportive housework related to the children, punctual, and flexible with her schedule. After a year of isolated quarantine, we made the difficult decision to put our children in school. Unfortunately, this means parting ways with Imelda as our family's nanny. It is most difficult to do, as Imelda has a true gift with children and has developed a deep bond with ours. We will sincerely miss Imelda, but we enthusiastically recommend her and will gladly serve as a reference for her.
