About Imari

My love for animals started during my childhood where I dreamt of becoming a Veterinarian. Throughout my high school years, I volunteered at the Oakland's SPCA which furthered my love for animals and led me to enroll in a vet tech program. In 2013, I worked as a Kennel supervisor at a day care and boarding facility for a little over a year before leaving to starting my vet tech program. After 4 internships and 1 externship at pet hospitals, in 2016, I graduated and officially became an animal nurse. While in vet tech school, I started dog walking and pet sitting and valued this intimate, happy time I was spending with animals. This inspired me to go to business school at California State University, East Bay where I received a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing and started my first business that is proudly black woman-owned and operated.

I 1000000000% recommend Imari. Imari is like family now. She took care of our fur babies for years when we lived in Oakland. She's communicative, punctual, and cares for our babies like her own. She's responsible and reliable. Imari has dog and house sat for our family numerous times! You would not regret hiring.... but good luck get on her schedule - she's one busy girl!
