About Imanni

I like working with kids because it's something different everyday. I'm currently in my second year of college, and plan to enter the education field when I graduate. I feel it is such a privilege to be part of a child's development and growth! I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I was a Sunday school teacher from the age of 12 til I graduated and moved to Clemson. I have worked as summer camp counsellor, as a babysitter, a tutor, and substitute teacher and teacher aide. I also have experience working with children with autism and other attention needs like Down Syndrome, learning delays, and children who are nonverbal. One thing you should know about me is that I value a child's development and education. I think it's never too early to start reading to children and exposing them to age appropriate material that will help them as a student. I believe that the foundation of education starts at home and I would love to help build that foundation with you!
