About Ilyssa
Experience: 10 yrs
Hi! My name is Ilyssa, I am 32 years old and a former high school social studies teacher, but I have returned to nannying younger kids! Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a nanny for children of all ages for over 13 years, worked at a sleep-away summer camp for two summers, and spent four years working in daycares. I enjoy making music and exploring other art forms, doing yoga, reading, cooking/baking, adventuring outdoors, finding good food sround the city, and going go concerts!
Most recent review
Ilyssa has been amazing. We're starting our daughter in daycare, but if we weren't we'd keep her forever (if we could)! She's very engaging, gentle, and patient with our little one. She's helpful with other tasks like walking our dog and doing the dishes. She's very professional and you can tell she loves children. Our little ones is so happy to see her in the mornings and has a lot of fun throughout the day. She has great attention to detail as well.
