About Illana

Hi! I'm a Social Work student who is passionate about working with children and supporting their growth in a safe, positive environment. Through my coursework in Child and Adolescent Development and trauma-informed care, I have gained valuable knowledge about children's emotional, social, and developmental needs. I have experience caring for children from infancy through adolescence as both a babysitter and camp counselor. These experiences have helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to each child's unique personality and needs. I enjoy creating engaging activities, helping with homework, encouraging learning, and making sure children feel safe and supported. I genuinely love working with children and strive to create a fun, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
