About Iliana

Hi! I'm Iliana, a bilingual special education teacher with a Master's in Education, CA credential, and 12 years supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech delays. I started as a one-to-one aide at 16 and became a credentialed teacher. I'm not your typical babysitter--I'm a trained professional who understands IEPs, behavior plans, and sensory needs. I use visual supports and positive behavior strategies to keep kids safe and engaged. I'm fluent in Spanish and English and communicate effectively with nonverbal children. I grew up with a brother who has special needs, so I understand the challenges families face both professionally and personally. I'm naturally nurturing and kids warm up to me quickly. I'm looking for a family who values specialized care and appreciates professional experience. I'm caring, consistent, and understanding.
