About Ilana

Hi! I was born in Mexico and moved to San Diego, CA in 1998. I have two kids and a new grandchild, who is the reason I moved to Maryland. I love working with children and helping them grow and develop. I have a degree in Neurological Development Treatment and am also an instructor in Infant Massage and Early Motor Skills. I have almost two decades worth of experience working as a teacher, with a focus on language tutoring and learning disabilities. Since coming to the USA I have always worked with and around kids in one capacity or another. I realized that this was my passion and gave it my all! I love creating connections with kids and helping them achieve their goals. I am funny, patient, and REALLY care about making a difference in a child's life. Areas of focus: English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Math tutoring for Elementary School students. Services offered: After school one-on-one or small groups tutoring or enrichment.
