About Ilana

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and hardworking. I like working with kids because it's rewarding. The reward of positively impacting a child's life in any way, shape, or form makes a difference not only in the child and family's life, but in mine as well. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build a strong and trustful connection between myself and the family. I started working with kids from a very young age. I'd go with my mom to her work every summer to volunteer at the school district's Special Ed summer program for many years. I continue to learn about children through my major, as I am minoring in Child Development. In my spare time, I like to relax and enjoy nature, specifically the beach. One thing you should know about me is that I am extremely family oriented. Growing up in a big family, it's fair to say I've always been surrounded by a loving and supportive environment, which I hope I can continue to spread to families surrounding me as well.
