I'm an empty nest mother with a college-senior daughter, looking to make extra money . I have more than five-years of professional experience as a certified substitute teacher in both public and private catholic schools. I was raised in a large family, so I began babysitting at age 12., and continued periodically through adulthood until I became a mother at age 35. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my family and extended family, travel and gardening. I'm a generation X . I'm compassionate and morally conservative, adhere to judeo-Christian values, while respecting the beliefs of people of all beliefs . I believe that childhood is a window of opportunity for adults to develop & influence the future leaders of our society. I'm comfortable with pets; however, I appreciate the use of obedience collars & tactile behavior tools for aggressive dog breeds. My skills include: active listening, structured check-ins and value-based bargaining for ages 7+.
