After having worked several years as a first responder and in healthcare, I took on a new roll as an "empty nester". The reality of the situation has proven to be somewhat disappointing. When I examined my life and asked myself what made me the happiest, the answer is unequivocally taking care of children. I was the nanny to the most wonderful twins. It's a position I found on Care. com almost 3 years ago. I am quite proud of how intelligent and rambunctious they are but oh how I will miss them! We moved from Tennessee to Connecticut in October. I am also a postpartum doula and have worked for several families in that capacity. I love reading, hiking, baking, crocheting, and caring for our animals which include (but is not limited to) dogs, cats, chickens, dairy goats, and bee hives.

Honna is an absolute light and has such a passion for taking care of kids. Honestly words can't describe how amazing she has been with our boy/girl twins who she kept from 4 months old until almost 2 years old. She is incredibly nurturing, wonderful at educating them and just a joy to be around. Any family would be lucky to have her!
