I think that this would be a good job for me due to my past experience. First of all I have a sister that I grew up with who has severe bipolar and other personality/ learning disabilities. Growing up with her has taught me a great deal especially in the area of patience and understanding. I have also done about 900 hours of community service through AmeriCorp. This involved anywhere from working with behavioral children to volunteering at a Bible camp for handicapped adults for several weeks. I have also worked at the MHA (mental health association) with disabled adults for a year. and Heartspring for 4. 5 years with autistic behavioral kids. I would like to care for a special needs child because I find it the most rewarding. Currently I work with a 16-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and a 31-year-old autistic woman. Thank you for reading.

Holly worked for me for a few years. She worked great with the students that we serve along with their parents. She learned the students and their programs quickly. She was able to implement them accurately and consistently. Holly's attendance was excellent. She was very reliable; always at work on time too. She not only completed her daily duties, she would also help other when they needed help. Holly is a little shy to start, but as she learns her job she comes out of her shell. Holly is a hard worker, and I'm sure would do a great job working for your company. If you have any question please feel free to contact me. Rebecca G. Lead Home Coordinator
